Ever since I could remember I have had this passion to do something on the creative/production side of the advertising industry. My dad is the director, cinematographer, producer, and owner of RGD Productions based in Dallas, Texas. My mom was one of the original 30 employees for GSD&M down in Austin as a client with […]

Hiya pals, me again. Let me tell you, this unit was an experience. While I have absolutely loved getting more acquainted with InDesign, I have also worked on my copywriting skills and design techniques. I wouldn’t say I’m a designer, or too creative, or even capable of sketching, but I do think my skills have …

Ultimately I am very pleased with the way all three of my final

First, I have thoroughly enjoyed using Adobe InDesign. I have found it more practical in certain aspects and with different uses compared to Illustrator. Practicing with InDesign has been easier for me to learn than Illustrator. For this campaign project, I found that my weaker points were trying to fully convey creative thoughts and how … Continue reading “Reflection Over My Campaign”

The past three weeks I have managed to create a full Ad Campaign from start to finish. I began with my subject (Ivar’s restaurant) and developed a creative brief from my research. After researching and learning as much as I could about my client, I developed for them a new tagline. I thought this was … Continue reading Print Ad Campaign

It’s me again, I’m here to post, in portfolio style, my first print campaign for my Advertising Copy and Layout course. Advertising Problem: Ivar’s restaurant located in Seattle, Washington wants to bring in more people for the holidays. What better way than a print campaign?! My Solution: When you think about the holidays what do …
