This heart warming ad, originally done in Japan but aired in the U.S. is by Amazon, advertising Amazon Prime and the quick shipping. It shows a new family with a baby and a dog who clearly feels left out. Once that father notices the dog’s exclusion, he orders a lion’s mane off of Amazon with his Prime account so his child will be more apt to play with the dog, thus showing a touching moment with child and pet. It uses the empathy strategy by showing that many families deal with pet issues with young children and offers an easy solution to a simple problem, bringing the whole family together.
